I am currently in Dr. Christine Berg's Pediatric Lab. I am
working with Youth in Need to give Head Start families information on the skills needed for kindergarten and to see if there
are any Head Start children that need more OT help in getting ready for kindergarten. We are using the following tools
for our research:
- Movement ABC (manual dexterity, ball skills, static balance, dynamic balance)
- Preschool Activity Card Sort (participation in activities typical for preschool aged children)
- Sensory Processing Measure (given to teacher)
- Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Function-Preschool version (given to teacher)
- Playdough activity observation (fine motor skills)
